VALLEY - Last Birthday Album Artwork Design and Vinyl Concept
VALLEY is one of my favorite up and coming groups in music, and with each project they become more successful. I wanted to treat this design as a potential pitch to the group themselves, creating a solid concept for the group to go with my design vs. other potential designers. I submitted this mockup to VALLEY as a part of their fanzine they were compiling, and it was chosen from thousands of submissions.
The mockup’s intention is that the front cover is a slipcover, almost like you’re looking through the window of the diner. The slipcover is removable in order to reveal the full album cover.
