With my position as Graphic Designer at Ricoh, I was offered the opportunity to work with the Atlanta branch of American Cancer Society and create signage and collateral for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Atlanta. Making Strides is ACS’s annual breast cancer walk that they use to fundraise for research towards breast cancer prevention and finding a cure. The various materials I made included banners to hang throughout the walking path, as well as human directional signs, photo op signs, and signs created to display the event’s sponsors. This design and printing process taught me how to create materials that adhere to brand guidelines as well as creating designs for an event that has such a meaningful cause.
